| Carrie kept telling us this money show routinely had classes of more than 30 but we weren't sure if we believed her or not. We are believers now! Nice show, not too far away, prize money was very good. A really nice show with huge classes - and our little group had a great day! We had a good time in our new trailers and went out to dinner (Thanks Carrie & Jen for the treat!). Jen had never shown before so we rigged up an outfit and sent her into halter with Jake - and she was 6th of 18 on her very first try! Congratulations Jen! And we all came home with blue ribbons and prize money even with the tough competition. One class had a trophy instead of money (yuck) and Neko won it. Showmanship had 34 entries. Neko and Corinne won, Jake and Brenda got third (they had a back into a pivot in line with the judge and we were the tiniest bit crooked - but watch out Corinne, we'll practice that move more). |

| Scoreboard: Neko & Corinne -1st of 34 showmanship. Brenda & Jake 3rd. English pleasure -Corinne and Neko 1st of 43!!!! Jr. Horse -Corinne and Neko 3rd of 33. Neko & Corinne walk/trot -1st of 34. Corinne & Jake last class - 4th of 18 western pleasure. Brenda and Jake -1st of 28 Jack Benny pleasure. Carrie and Bandit - 1st 5 and under pleasure, 1st in horsemanship. And Jen and Jake - Halter - 6th of 18 - her very first show and we only decided to have her go in literally as the class was walking in the gate and we yelled instructions from the rail. We all either won something in riding,, all classes had more than 28 riders. Nice show and not too far, we won't be able to make it back until September maybe but will definitely keep an eye on their schedule. |

| Neko's showmanship trophy left (we would have rather had money! - some horses in english pleasure right (I couldn't get them all in the photo) She had 43 in one class and won. Jake won his w/Brenda and 28 entries. Neko's other class only had 33 and she won that one too. |
